3. Scope of Services

 

3.1 Blaque Juice Consulting offers strategic consulting, organisational-design, governance, systems-building and leadership-development services using the proprietary B.L.A.Q. Method™ (Break Down – Layout – Align – Qualify).

3.2 We may also offer digital products (e-books, toolkits, templates), online learning, event experiences (such as the Leadership Hike), and other professional services from time to time.

3.3 All Services are delivered subject to these Terms and any specific proposal, engagement letter, or service agreement provided to you.

 

 

4. Use of Website

 

4.1 This website and its contents are intended for lawful use by individuals or organisations seeking information or Services from Blaque Juice Consulting.

4.2 In accordance with ECTA, all communications sent electronically through this website are deemed valid “in writing”.

4.3 You may not use this website for any unlawful purpose, including transmitting malware, unsolicited communications, or infringing content.

 

 

5. Booking, Payment & Confirmation

 

5.1 All bookings or purchases made via the website or email must be confirmed by full or agreed deposit payment, unless otherwise stipulated in writing.

5.2 We process payments through secure third-party gateways compliant with Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards.

​

5.3 By paying, you confirm that you have authority to use the selected payment method.

​

5.4 Prices include VAT (if applicable). Any additional taxes or bank charges are your responsibility.

5.5 A tax invoice will be issued in compliance with Section 20 of the VAT Act 89 of 1991 (where applicable).

 

 

6. Cancellations & Refunds

 

6.1 Our Refund Policy, incorporated herein by reference, governs cancellations and refunds.

6.2 Once work on a consulting engagement has commenced (“work resumed”), the fee becomes non-refundable.

​

6.3 For special programmes or events (e.g., Leadership Hike), no refund is issued within 30 days of the event. Cancellations made earlier may be eligible for a 50 % refund, less processing costs.

7. Intellectual Property

 

7.1 All content, materials, frameworks, and documentation developed or displayed on this website or provided in the course of our Services are protected by South African Copyright Act 98 of 1978.

7.3 We grant clients a limited, non-exclusive licence to use deliverables internally for their own organisational purposes only.

10. Limitation of Liability

 

10.1 We exercise reasonable skill and care in providing our Services.

10.2 To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

(a) indirect or consequential loss (including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunity);

(b) any delay or failure due to circumstances beyond our control.

10.3 Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the total fees paid for the Service in question.

​

10.4 Nothing herein limits liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or death/personal injury caused by our negligence.

 

 

11. Consumer Rights & Cooling-Off Period

 

11.1 Under Section 44 of ECTA and Sections 16 and 20 of the CPA, consumers who conclude electronic transactions may have a 7-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase, unless the service has already begun with their consent.

11.2 Once you have accessed digital content or work has commenced, the right to cancel under these provisions no longer applies.

 

 

12. Termination

 

12.1 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Services if you breach these Terms or fail to make required payments.

​

12.2 Upon termination, you remain liable for any accrued fees and reasonable costs incurred.

 

 

13. Force Majeure

 

We shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, power outages, industrial disputes, or internet disruptions.

 

 

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

 

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of South Africa, Gauteng Division.
