“Strategy is not a document, it’s how we choose to lead.”

That belief has guided me through every part of my journey, from the chaos of early systems that didn’t work, to the quiet clarity that comes from building structures that do. I’ve learned that leadership isn’t about control; it’s about creating conditions where people can thrive. That’s what Blaque Juice was born to do, to help leaders and organisations turn structure into strength and purpose into progress.

The journey

My career didn’t start in consulting. It started on the ground, in aisles, campaigns and planning decks; working in trade marketing under NuMetro, where I learned how behaviour, design and storytelling drive outcomes. That season taught me to think like a researcher: observing what people say, but also what they do. I became fascinated with how small shifts in environment or messaging could change entire outcomes. It was there that I first encountered the relationship between systems and behaviour, even if I didn’t yet have the language for it.

Today, as founder of Blaque Juice Consulting and Chief Operating Officer at Myclinic, my work sits at the intersection of strategy, governance and implementation. I hold an MBA with Cum Laude from Stellenbosch Business School, where my research on Co-production in Mental Health Care was recognised among the top projects at Research Meets Industry 2024. I’m also a member of the Institute of Directors South Africa (IoDSA), a space that continues to sharpen my understanding of ethical, compliance-driven and values-based leadership.

But titles and qualifications aside, I’m most proud of the work that happens in rooms without cameras, coaching young leaders, mentoring teams through transformation and watching people reconnect with why they started in the first place.
